Shipping Policy

(UK / Royal Mail Tracked 48)

Delicate Stitches ships within the United Kingdom only using Royal Mail Tracked 48.

1) Processing (dispatch) time

All in-stock, ready-to-ship items are dispatched within 3 working days.

For made-to-order and commissioned pieces, dispatch/collection time will be confirmed by email once details are agreed.

Working days are Monday–Friday (excluding UK bank holidays).

2) Delivery method & estimated delivery time

All orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48. Delivery is typically 2–3 working days from dispatch (estimate only).

3) Shipping costs

Shipping costs are shown at checkout.

4) Tracking

Tracking details will be emailed to you once your order has been dispatched.

5) Packaging

We package items carefully to protect them in transit. Where possible, we use recyclable or reused packaging materials.

6) Delivery address

Please check your delivery address carefully at checkout. If you notice an error, email helenwalsh@delicatestitches.co.uk as soon as possible. If an order has already been dispatched, we may not be able to change the address.

7) Missed deliveries / returned to sender

If Royal Mail returns an item to us due to an incorrect address or repeated failed delivery attempts, we can:

re-send it (you’ll need to pay the new postage cost), or
refund the item price (minus the original postage cost), once it’s returned to us in saleable condition.

8) Delays, loss, or damage in transit

Delivery times are estimates and may be longer during busy periods.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item, the damage, and the packaging/label. We’ll arrange a replacement (if available) or a refund.

If your parcel appears lost, contact us and we’ll help investigate with Royal Mail.
